The Master of Music in Performance degree (33 credit hours) combines intensive work in performance with scholarly rigor. Applied study in the student's major area and a public recital are combined with repertory study and core coursework in music history and theory. A research project and comprehensive oral examination are both required. The degree is distinguished by the intensive faculty-student interaction and instruction.
